Writing and Linguistics faculty and students to present at CURIO symposium April 16
The Department of Writing and Linguistics will have faculty and students presenting at the Center for Undergraduate Research and Intellectual Opportunity Symposium (CURIO) beginning at 6 pm on April 16, 2019 in the Interdisciplinary Arts Building (IAB). Faculty/student pairings from Writing and Linguistics include Prof. Drew Keane and Michaella Valkenaar; Dr. Lisa Costello and Hannah Sincavage; Prof. Drew Keane and Andrew Serrero; Prof. Christina Olson and Rachel Pittman; Prof. Laura Valeri and Clayton Grant; and Prof. Drew Keane and Ty Hamilton.
Writing & Linguistics faculty members distinguish themselves as mentors for undergraduate research. Students across various disciplines reach out to W&L faculty for mentorship in undergraduate research and creative works. These students’ outstanding research and creative work outside the classroom distinguish themselves with their hard work and show their commitment to excellence in research and creativity with projects that range from creative performances, to interactive digital games applications, to process studies and studies in the arts, humanities, and sciences.
