Phong Nguyen campus visit & reading
The Georgia Southern University Department of Writing and Linguistics, with the support of the Campus Life Enrichment Committee, proudly presents a reading with Phong Nguyen on Thursday, October 30, at 6 p.m. in Carroll Building Lecture Hall 2227. The reading is free and open to the public.
Phong Nguyen’s first short story collection, Memory Sickness, won the Elixir Press Fiction Award. His second collection, Pages from the Textbook of Alternate History, was published by Queen’s Ferry Press in 2014. With the poet Wayne Miller, he edits Pleiades: A Journal of New Writing and Reviews. He teaches fiction and literature at the University of Central Missouri.
