WGSS Resource Closet
The WGSS Resource Closet offers a GM Closet, a Green Period Pantry, and Student Accessibility Items. Read below for more information.
The GM Closet was created by students for students and is now sponsored by WGSS.
This is a place for transgender, gender nonconforming, and non binary people to shop. It is a safe space run by the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program (WGSS).
The physical closet space is on the Statesboro campus in the WGSS office in the IAB Room 1026. Students can access the closet online by clicking here to view items in the GM Closet. Please note: All items in the GM closet are FREE! Also, you will be asked to login to your MyGeorgiaSouthern account to view the items.
The pictures here are only a portion of the clothing and accessories which are available. We will soon have an online ordering form, so faculty, staff, and students can shop. Items can be delivered free of charge by campus mail. For the moment, if you don’t see what you need, email Dr. Lisa A. Costello, firstname.lastname@example.org. Everything is confidential.
This is a free resource, so please take advantage of it! We do not turn anyone away.
The closet has been curated by GS fashion merchandising and design students, so our styles are current. If you would like a private fashion consultation, please contact Dr. Costello.
The Green Period Pantry includes supplies on site and signage posted if special sizes are needed.
The Student Accessibility Items are sponsored by the Accessibility Student Group.
Our number one priority is YOU! You are not alone; we support you. If there is anything you need but do not see or cannot access, please let us know.
