Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) is an interdisciplinary liberal arts program offering an undergraduate minor and a concentration and a major in Fall 2018. In your WGSS courses, you will learn about the complexities of gender and sexuality, as well as the intersectionality of identities. Faculty:  The Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program at Georgia Southern boasts an incredibly diverse faculty from nearly every college on campus. To join our affiliated faculty list please fill out this form: wgst_2018_affiliated_fac_form

Students:  We work with student organizations including the Georgia Southern National Organization for Women (GSU-NOW), United for Reproductive and Gender Equity (URGE), the Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA), Student Abolitionist Movement, Amnesty International, and the Sexual Assault Student Educators (SASE). We like to think of our program as a center for all things related to gender, sexuality, advocacy, and inclusivity.

There is also a GM Closet on campus that will soon have a permanent home!

Thank you for your interest in our program. Please contact the Director, Dr. Lisa A. Costello at: lacostello@georgiasouthern.edu, with any questions.

We look forward to meeting you!
