Residential Interest Groups (RIGs)
CLASS ACT (Academic Community Team) RIG
Housed in Eagle Village, RIGs are clusters of 25 – 30 students who share a major or course interest. RIGs allow residence hall students to develop relationships with other students who share similar interests while they are taking general education courses. RIGs are the most academically intentional of the Living/Learning Communities at Georgia Southern University.
CLASS ACT: This College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences RIG will focus on issues central to majors and interest within the Arts, humanities, and social sciences. This community is dedicated to providing academic support and vocational exploration through faculty involvement.
Accepted Majors
The CLASS ACT RIG will accommodate approximately 30 students in the following
majors:
Art, English, History, Writing, Philosophy, Foreign Languages, Anthropology,Psychology, Sociology, Literature, Justice Studies, Political Science, and students considering or interested in any of the above majors and areas.

Application Procedures
Upon acceptance to Georgia Southern University, apply for on-campus housing. There is a $100 non-refundable application fee to apply for Housing.
