Southern Chorale is the premiere choral ensemble of Georgia Southern University. Southern Chorale’s membership draws from the most talented vocal students to provide a professional foundation for performance and choral music education majors and a meaningful musical experience for those University students who wish to continue to sing in an elite ensemble. Southern Chorale has performed at Saint Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin and Canterbury Cathedral. In July 2016, Southern Chorale won the Grand Prix of the Laurea Mundi Budapest choral competition.
Armstrong Chamber Singers
The Armstrong Chamber Singers is a select group of 16-20 musicians chosen by audition. The ensemble has performed for the Georgia Music Educators Conference, and has twice made concert tours of Europe. In Spring 2001, the choir debuted at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Armstrong University Chorale
The University Chorale is comprised of 50-70 singers representative of the diverse number of majors at the university and open to any student on the Armstrong campus without audition.

Southern Gentlemen/Southern Sirens
Southern Gentlemen is Georgia Southern’s award-winning men’s barbershop ensemble. Southern Sirens is a contemporary a cappella group for women. Membership is by audition.
