Gary B. Sullivan Scholarship in Irish Studies
The Dr. Gary B. Sullivan Scholarship in Irish Studies, established in 2001 by the Faculty Board of the Center for Irish Studies, is a tribute to the Chair of the Advisory Board of the Center for Irish Studies, in recognition of his invaluable support of the programs of the Center since its founding in 1995. The amount of the scholarship is $500 per academic year ($250 per semester).
Eligibility Requirements
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE DR. GARY B. SULLIVAN SCHOLARSHIP IN IRISH STUDIES YOU MUST:
- Be a junior or senior obtaining a minor in Irish Studies.
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
- Be enrolled full-time during the award period.
- Be enrolled in at least one approved Irish Studies course each semester of the award period.

Provide two letters of recommendation from professors who can attest to your academic excellence and personal character.
Submit application and letters of recommendation to the Director of the Center for Irish Studies.
