Movie Night- The Book of Life

The Association of Latin American Student will be celebrating the last meeting of the semester tonight, November 16, with a screening of the film The Book of Life!Make sure to come and bring your friends. We are excited to celebrate the success of this organization with our ALAS family.

Vidalia Onion Oral History Performance

Georgia Southern’s Department of Communication Arts presents “Reflections on a ‘Sweet Life’: The Vidalia Onion Oral History & Performance Project. This performance has been adapted and directed by Dr. Rebecca Kennerly with interview conducted by Dr. Kennerly and her students in COMS 4336 (Performance, Culture, and Communication). 

Public Lecture- Dr. Matthew Flynn

On Thursday, November 12th at 5:30 in the Russell Union Room 2048, Dr. Flynn will be giving a public lecture entitled “The Dilemma of High-Priced Medicines.”

Latinos/as in the US Course

Are you looking for a course for the Latin American Studies minor or concentration for the spring? Dr. Abreu will be offering a course in the History Department about Latinos/as in the United States.
