M.A. and MAT in Spanish

If you have completed your undergraduate degree, can speak Spanish, and are looking to expand your employment options, our Spanish graduate degrees may be what will satisfy your need.

  • Our M.A. in Spanish program hones students’ ability to think critically and deal effectively and with appropriate cultural awareness in the Spanish-speaking world.
  • Our MAT in Spanish prepares students to teach Spanish in schools K-12. There is an enormous demand and certified teachers easily find secure jobs.

Many students choose to complete both the M.A. and the MAT simultaneously. The programs work together seamlessly and afford students broader preparation and expanded employment opportunities.

We’d love to have you join our ranks! To enter our program you need to have an undergraduate degree (in any field) and feel comfortable speaking and writing Spanish (we’ll evaluate your abilities for free to see if you are ready).

¡Hasta pronto!
