Majors, Minors, & Mocktails Rescheduled
Out of an abundance of caution and in light of the requests received we are going to reschedule the Majors, Minors, and Mocktails events that were scheduled for this Friday, September 30th. The new days and times are as follows:
New Dates for Majors, Minors, & Mocktails
- Armstrong Campus – Monday, October 10th, 10am-2pm in the Student Union Ballroom
- Statesboro Campus – Tuesday, October 11th, 10am-2pm in the Russell Union Ballroom
We want to ensure our students and academic partners are able to enjoy these events to the fullest. I will be reaching out to each of the academic departments that originally signed up for these events to let them know of the changes. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding!
Legacy of Slavery in Savannah event to be hosted on the Armstrong Campus
This year’s presentation will be a panel entitled “The Past, Present, and Future of Voting Rights.” The event will feature remarks from Dr. Orville Vernon Burton, a distinguished professor of History at Clemson University, and former Savannah Mayor, Dr. Otis Johnson, followed by a Q&A. The event will take place on October 20th at 6:00 p.m. in University Hall room 156. For more information visit: https://www.telfair.org/event/voting-rights/
