OIHFF Opening Film – Good Luck Soup Q & A – a film by Matthew Hashiguchi

The Ogeechee International History Film Festival will be all virtual. This year’s festival features Good Luck Soup, a film by Matthew Hashiguchi. Good Luck Soup is a personal documentary about Hashiguchi and his family’s experience of living in a predominantly white community in Ohio while working to understand and embrace his Japanese heritage. The film is available for streaming starting February 25th and continuing to March 5th. There will be a live Q&A panel with the filmmaker at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 26th via Zoom.
