Conditional Admission to Georgia Southern
Students who have completed high school and want to apply for undergraduate admission but need to improve their English first, can apply for conditional admission.
Conditional Admission Process
-Available for freshman students only
-Must have at least a 2.5 academic grade point average (GPA) from high school
To apply for conditional admission, do the following:
- Complete the English Language Program application
- Pay the ELP $50 application fee
- Receive acceptance letter from ELP.
- Complete the Georgia Southern Undergraduate Application.
- After you receive the acceptance then you can create a new profile in ISSS Portal (International Scholar and Student Services)
- Mail Your Academic Transcripts. Request copies of your official transcript, mark sheet, exam results, and certificates/diplomas for all secondary coursework in the original language from your secondary school. Academic records must have a seal or an original signature. Photocopies are acceptable if they are noted as “Certified True Copy” and signed by a school official. If your records are not in English, you must include a certified English translation of all documents.
