Senior Graphic Design students unveil portfolios at Center for Art & Theatre

30 Pixels: Young Designers 2019The Georgia Southern University Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt) will host “Thirty Pixels,” an annual exhibition of senior graphic design work, from April 19 – 26 in the Contemporary and University Galleries at the Center for Art and Theatre on the Statesboro Campus. A reception will be held on Friday, April 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.

The Graphic Design program at the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art is comprised of a dynamic and multi-faceted curriculum that is led by their exceptional faculty. Every year, The Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art graduates, many gifted and diverse designers that successfully transition into various careers within the design profession.

“This exhibition is always one of our more intensive and exciting shows every year,” says gallery director Jason Hoelscher. “The work of our graphic design students here–or more accurately, emerging designers–is dynamic and focused, and this exhibition offers a great hint at their works to come.”

The exhibition features work from Kendyll Canning, Bailey Cawthon, Robert Doehling, Chandler Eldridge, Elaina Frampton, Katie Griffin, Amelia Lynn, Heidi McClain, Anna Blalock, Rachel Brown, Marin Coleman, Soleil Collins, Jasmine Davis, Taylor Floyd, Yvette Gallardo, Dylan Harris, Samantha Lanza, Deeanna Lyn, Jessica Martin, Thomas Martin, Imani McCants, Madeline Owens, Trenton Reese, Macey Skelton, Kevin Spillane, John St Lewis, Emily Thomson, Elisabeth Waters, Gherri Weekes-Garnette and Sophie Woodward.
