‘Let’s get dressed’ exhibit opens March 29
The Georgia Southern University Museum will hold an opening reception for its newest changing exhibit, Let’s Get Dressed, Wednesday, March 29, from 5- 6:30 p.m. The exhibit is curated by Dr. Addie Martindale of the Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design Department and was designed by Senior Design students in the Art Department.
The exhibit explores through the commonality of getting dressed that we are all individuals, so how we dress is an individual experience that reflects aspects of our identities, including our ethnicity, gender, religion or culture, ability, and body size. The exhibit celebrates the variety of identities that we have among our Georgia Southern students, faculty, and staff.
