Hoop Troop

SPRING SEMESTER HOOP TROOP AUDITIONS

The Hoop Troop Pep Band performs at all Men’s and Women’s Basketball games during the Spring Semester including all post-season travel.

The band is comprised of 29 Traveling members (the NCAA mandated max for travel) and a variable amount of additional core members.

Instrumentation is as follows:
Piccolo
Clarinet
Alto Saxophone
Tenor Saxophone
Trumpet
Mellophone
Euphonium
Trombone
Sousaphone
Drumset
Electric Bass

Traveling members are required to attend all games both regular and post-season.  They will be paid $25 per regular-season service.  Any and all travel will be paid for.

Core members will only be required to come to 6 games and will be paid $25 for each.  They are welcome to attend more than 6 but will only be paid for those additional games if they are subbing for a Traveling member.  Core members will be the first call players whenever a sub is needed both during the regular and post-season.

Auditions will take place on Wednesday 12/4/19 and Thursday 12/5/19 from 11am – 2pm both days in one of the second floor Foy Building practice rooms
