About the SPMB

Southern Pride is the name for the marching band of Georgia Southern University located in Statesboro, Georgia.

Comprised of over 200 students from every College and Department on Georgia Southern University’s campus, the Southern Pride Marching Band is the entertainment showcase of Eagle Football. 

The Band performs for over 250,000 fans every season and brings the pageantry of collegiate athletics to every venue in which it performs.  From road games, to parades, to its home in Allen E. Paulson Stadium, the Prettiest Little Stadium in America, the Southern Pride Marching Band brings Eagle spirit, Eagle tradition, and a commitment to excellence every time they don the Blue and White.

Southern Pride has also performed at halftime for the Atlanta Falcons, pregame for the Atlanta Braves, and has had members of its drumline perform on the David Letterman Show.
