General Information

Updated on 8/3/20:
Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic and issues related to this, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s band camp.

Luckily, we will still have plenty of time during our normally scheduled class time (MWF from 4pm – 6pm) to learn and prepare everything before our first home game.

There is still time to join the band if you’re a wind player.  Just read the information below and fill out the registration form.

See you all on Monday, August 17th at 3:50pm! (to be early is to be on time…)

Wind players do not have to audition to be a part of the SPMB however all wind players are expected to prepare pregame and show music for band camp to secure a spot in the band.  Music and more details will be available later in the Spring.  Register HERE to be a wind player in the 2020 SPMB.

Southern Pride is the name for the marching band of Georgia Southern University located in Statesboro, Georgia.

At over 200 members strong, the university’s marching band celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2007. Southern Pride performs at all home football games, select away athletic events, parades, and as an exhibition band at marching contests throughout the state and region. Southern Pride has also performed at halftime for the Atlanta Falcons, pregame for the Atlanta Braves, and has had members of its drumline perform on the David Letterman Show.
