Master of Fine Arts (MFA):
Concentration in Graphic Design

The Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design degree program combines conceptual, technical, and critical thinking skills that enable you to gain a deeper understanding of your own artistic ideas and vision, and for satisfying the design needs of clients and customers. Surpass your previous art achievements by evolving a fresh conceptual premise into a body of artwork and designs relevant to today’s contemporary art world and commercial needs.

The Graphic Design master’s program prepares you to become a professional graphic design leader or higher education teacher. Your experience and extensive portfolio enable you to enter the industry entry-level or higher management positions.

Students in the MFA program at the BFSDoArt are provided with a studio space to create their graduate body of work. Graphic Design students have access to the Department’s technology such as a photography studio with green screens, SLR digital cameras, Mac computer labs, plotters and printers in the Visual Arts Building.
