The world's largest not so still life

Work alongside Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art faculty and graduate students to push your creative skills to the next level.

Starting with a ridiculously large still life, you’ll take on a series of prompts and challenges designed to unleash your imagination while creating your own one-of-a-kind work of art.

  • Create a Unique Work of Art

This exciting studio experience is open only to CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS who are interested in pursuing a degree in art, art history, graphic design, or art education on any Georgia Southern University campus.  

Registration will open on December 1, 2021. The deadline to register is January 7 or when full. Students may attend only one of the 2 events.

Lunch and materials will be provided.

*Scholarships: At the end of each event, one individual will be awarded $1,000 for the 2022-2023 academic year. To receive one of these BFSDoArt scholarships, students must be current high school seniors, must attend Georgia Southern University in the 2022-2023 academic year (full-time enrollment), must be entering the University as a first-term freshman or beginning freshman with dual enrollment credit, and must major in a BFSDoArt program.
