Riner receives residency at Sulfur Studios; opens solo show at Savannah Cultural Arts Center in October

In the month of September, Kimberly Riner had a residency at Sulfur Studios in Savannah. This was part of their On::view residency program. Riner’s community project was a collective, clay grief quilt for which members of the community made tiles that Riner is now unifying into an artwork.
Riner also is exhibiting her work at the Savannah Cultural Arts Center in late October and November. The opening will be Oct. 22 at 6 p.m. with an artist talk at 6:30 p.m. The title of the exhibition is “Impermanence.”
