Conn to teach workshop at Jepson Center for the Arts
Bridget Conn will be teaching a workshop at the Jepson Center for the Arts on Saturday and Sunday, March 10 and 11. Entitled “Exploring Cyanotype,” participants will learn how this 19th-century blue-toned photographic process can create photograms and photographs shot with a digital camera. Conn has been featured among 15 contemporary photographic artists in “Future Past: Experiments in Photography” at Tracey Morgan Gallery in Asheville, NC. The exhibition runs through March 31. More details may be found at http://www.traceymorgangallery.com/exhibitions/future-past.
Conn will serve a guest juror for “Alternative to What? Broadening the Definition of Photography,” an exhibition of experimental photography at Sulfur Studios in Savannah in March. Submissions will be accepted through Feb. 23, with more information at sulfurstudios.org.
