Hines’ work awarded, exhibited internationally
Jessica Hines won 1st Place in the Open Category at the Kuala Lumpur International PhotoAwards with participants from 35 countries, White Box Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Hines was invited to exhibit work from Spirit Stories at the Tsereteli Museum of Modern Art in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia. The exhibition was curated by Tina Schelhorn of Galerie Lichtblick, in Cologne, Germany. Hines also exhibited work from My Brother’s War at Lekhaindrao Production in Tbilisi where the work was short listed for the Documentary Award. Hines traveled to Tbilisi to attend the opening receptions.
Hines work from Spirit Stories was also shown at Les Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles, in July the exhibition entitled: Space Veggies and Earth Plants, in July, Arles, France.
She was invited to exhibit in Eyes on Main Street, Wilson outdoor photography festival, invitational exhibition of 100 international and historically relevant photographers, 2016, Wilson, North Carolina.
Dodho Magazine featured Hines’ Odd Stories, in the July 2016 issue, Barcelona, Spain.
