Derek Larson

Assistant Professor Derek Larson recently was appointed M.F.A. Graduate Director for Georgia Southern University’s Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art. Larson received his M.F.A. from Yale University School of Art and has expertise in video, animation, motion graphics, sculpture and installation.

Larson also recently has been selected for publication in the New American Paintings #124 Southern Issue. He was invited to teach in the Summer Studio Program at Virginia Commonwealth University and has been offered a solo exhibition at West Virginia University in the Fall.
