Dr. Shelley E. Zuraw to Present Lecture on Fifteenth Century Italian Works

Zuraw, Associate Professor at the University of Georgia and scholar of Italian Renaissance sculpture, will present a lecture on fifteenth-century Italian works: “Marble Reliefs: Forgotten Florentine Masterpieces from the Fifteenth Century,” recently given by invitation at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and now offered to us on Thursday, February 11 at 5 pm in the IT Building, Room 1004, with a reception to follow. She will also accompany our own Professor Marc Moulton, discussing sculpture techniques and processes as they lead attendees around the studios in the Ceramics and Sculpture Building at 10:00 am, Friday, February 12. The events are generously funded by the Campus Life Enrichment Committee and the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art. Both events are free and open to the public. Attendance verification for students will be offered.
