Senior BFSDoArt Graphic Design Student wins AIGA Atlanta Type Fight
Christina Mei (Shengping Mei) won first prize at the AIGA Type Fight event held at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, GA. A Type Fight is letter versus letter, swash versus serif, type tussling type, Iron Chef-like style competition. Fighters had on-site battle to design and execute an assigned letter in whatever form they choose, digitally or traditionally, in 3 hours. After the battle royale concluded, the popular vote ruled and Christina Mei took home the prize!
