Schmuki Exhibits at the Salina Art Center
Jeff Schmuki, professor of ceramics, contributed to the recent 6 Years In: The Warehouse exhibition held at the Salina Art Center, Salina, Kansas, from Sept. 25th through Oct. 4th. His work, Homestead, was a participatory, community-driven display where individuals grew plants in the Art Center’s main gallery. Schmuki and partner Wendy DesChene also traveled to Augusta, GA during the Westobou Festival to present their PlantBot Traveling Art Lab on Oct. 6 as a free art installation for festival-goers.
