Piano in the Arts continues fifth season with ‘Baroque, Romantic, Contemporary’

Pianist Daniel Schene has long been known as a consummate artist and a superlative teacher. Schene will perform “Baroque, Romantic, Contemporary” as a part of Georgia Southern University’s Piano in the Arts concert series at the Fine Arts Hall on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 7:30 p.m.

“Daniel Schene will primarily perform classical composers like Chopin and Bach, and with his unique approach to these well-known pieces, we will rediscover these masterpieces,” said Ben Warsaw, Ph.D., assistant professor of piano and director of the Piano in the Arts series. “His sound and technique are astounding — he truly is a master teacher and performer of the piano.”
