Simpson nominated for 2014 Outstanding Advocate for First-Year Students

KimSimpsonJustice Studies Advisor Kimberly Simpson was recently nominated to receive Georgia Southern University’s 2014 Outstanding Advocate for First-Year Students.

This annual award recognizes excellence in the teaching and mentoring of first-year students at Georgia Southern. Nominations are accepted from Georgia Southern University students. Winners receive a plaque and up to $1,500 to attend the 34th Annual Conference on the First-Year Experience (held February 6-10, 2015 in Dallas, TX) or another conference relating to student success, global education, or pedagogical practice.
