CLASS Advisement Center Coordinator, Advisor nominated for NACADA awards

The CLASS Advisement Center is proud to announce that two of its members have been nominated for National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) awards.

Kimberly Simpson, justice studies advisor, was nominated for the 2014 Outstanding Advising Award. Simpson joined the advising team in 2012, and is a native of Rincon.

Jennifer Glenn, CLASS advisement coordinator, was nominated for the 2014 Outstanding Administrator Award. A native of Florida, Glenn has been with Georgia Southern University since May 2012.

The Outstanding Advising Awards annually recognize individuals who have demonstrated qualities associated with outstanding academic advising of students or outstanding academic advising administration. All recipients will be honored at the Awards Ceremony held during the Annual Conference this Fall. Winners receive a complimentary basic registration for the Annual Conference, a recognition plaque, and a one-year membership in NACADA. Certificates of Merit may be awarded to other nominees.
